| The Department of Plant Sciences (PLSC) offers a masters degree in Plant Sciences. We offer the PhD degree in Plants, Soils & Insects, in collaboration with the soils faculty in Biosystems Engineering and Soil Sciences and the Entomology and Plant Pathology faculty.
We offer programs in a wide variety of areas, including horticulture, crop science, weed science, postharvest physiology, bioactive natural plant products, stress physiology, woody ornamentals, public horticulture, and turfgrass. Note: we no longer offer graduate programs in landscape design or floriculture.
